Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club to Host Denim & Diamonds Annual Fundraiser to Benefit Charity Fund and Young Hearts For Life

Downers Grove, Illinois - The Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club (DGJWC) will host their big annual fundraiser on May 4th, 2024 at Neat Kitchen and Bar to raise funds for the DGJWC Charity Fund and their 2024 Charity Partner, Young Hearts For Life.

This year’s theme is Denim & Diamonds at the Derby and will feature music by Big Cat DJ, delicious appetizers, 3-hour open bar, raffles, a silent auction, a Kendra Scott Pop-Up Shop and more. 

Allison McNulty, DGJWC President, is excited to continue to build off the momentum of the huge success of previous fundraising efforts. “Last year, the Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club donated over $125,000 to our community through local charitable donations, senior scholarships, teacher grants and more.”

“This year, we have selected a very special organization as our 2024 Charity Partner, Young Hearts For Life. YH4L is a nationally known nonprofit providing free life-saving cardiac screenings for local teens. We have pledged to donate $20,000 so they can continue to offer free ECGs to all students to detect conditions which may cause Sudden Cardiac Death.”

The Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club would not be able to achieve this unprecedented level of giving without the support of their community sponsors and members. Denim & Diamonds at the Derby is open to the public and members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend.
