2021-2022 Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club Teacher Grant/Scholarship Applications Now Open
DOWNER GROVE, ILLINOIS - The DGJWC is offering 5+ not-to-exceed $500 teacher grants/professional development scholarships to District 58 and/or District 99 full-time educators. The grants/scholarships are to be used toward educational supplies in conjunction with a lesson or program the applicant feels will benefit students in a meaningful way OR for the educator's enrollment in a specific program, course, or workshop that will ultimately benefit students.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Please complete and submit this form in full, along with any corresponding documents, no later than 11:59 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2021.
ELIGIBILITY: Applicants must be current full-time educators in Downers Grove District 58 or District 99 who are also planning to teach full time in District 58 or District 99 during the 2022-2023 school year. All applicants must be U.S. Citizens or permanent legal residents of the United States. Prior DGJWC Teacher Grant recipients will NOT be eligible for this year's grant/professional development scholarship offerings.
DESCRIPTION OF FUNDS & TIMELINE: All 2021-22 DGJWC grant/scholarship recipients will be recognized the week of December 13-17, 2021. All teacher grants/scholarships must be paid out prior to June 1, 2022 or will expire. Funds will be awarded as a one-time, not-to-exceed $500 grant or scholarship to each recipient in the form of a check from the Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club written directly to the institution or vendor of the recipient's choice, to be applied toward the course/workshop/program OR educational resources for their classroom.
