The Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club (“DGJWC”), which serves Downers Grove and the surrounding community, is honored to be able to award one or more grants totaling $15,000 to deserving local Not-For-Profit organizations to support current and future initiatives.

Eligibility requirements for the one-time Special Grant:

• Non-profit status under the Internal Revenue Service code

• Organization must demonstrate sound, responsible financial policies and management

• Organization must act locally, and the grant must support a local project/initiative (DuPage County & Surrounding Counties)

• The grant must support a project that provides a service not readily available elsewhere

• The grant addresses a significant funding gap or critical opportunity for which fundraising dollars can provide the greatest long-term impact with measurable results

Application Schedule / Dates:

• September 17, 2024: Grant Application Deadline

• October 10, 2024: Finalists Notified of Selection

• October 22, 2024: Finalists Required to Present Proposal at DGJWC General Meeting

• October 22, 2024: DGJWC Membership Votes

• November 14, 2024: Award Presented at DGJWC General Meeting
