No wrapping paper needed at December General - Please bring gift bags, tissue paper and clothing boxes, tape, scissors
We hope to see you at the December General Meeting and Gift Wrapping event on Tuesday, December 17th! Happy hour will be from 7-7:30p with food from The Outpost. DGJWC is proud to support The Outpost as it is owned by a local DG family!
Jessica Stewart, Assistant Superintendent for Special Services and Homeless Liaison for District 58 will be speaking promptly at 7:30. We will be wrapping presents that were purchased through Elf Shelf due to the phenomenal generosity of our Club membership! Gift wrapping will take place immediately following the conclusion of the general meeting.
All attendees are invited to join us for a large group picture with our new charity partner, Hope's Front Door! Hope's Front Door is a trusted resource for DuPage County residents facing crises, including the working poor, recently unemployed, and chronically unhoused. With compassion and respect, the organization provides immediate assistance for urgent needs like food, transportation and housing, while guiding clients toward long-term stability through referrals and resources. Hope's Front Door partners with the community to ensure fair distribution of support and help to light the way forward for those in need. The Downers Grove Junior Woman's Club is honored to partner with Hope's Front Door to support their vital mission.
Ugly Sweaters highly encouraged!
RSVP by Monday, December 16th to help with the food order.
*Please bring a pair of scissors as well as tape, gift bags, ribbons, bows and/or boxes if you are able to help with the wrapping process. We do not need wrapping paper this year. Thank you!*
